"Because of Maintouch, we don't have to outspend anyone to show up when a buyer is researching. A good post keeps working long after it's published, and we know that ads stop the minute you stop paying."

Founding Marketer, GovEagle
Goals
Be the source buyers find
GovCon buyers do a lot of research before they talk to anyone, and more of that research now happens in ChatGPT and Google's AI answers. When a buyer asks how to build a compliance matrix or run a bid/no-bid decision, GovEagle wants to be the answer that comes back.
Search is also where GovEagle proves it knows the market. Its readers work in a technical, regulated space and know the process cold, so the content has to be right.
Challenge
Competitors in the answers, GovEagle nowhere
GovEagle had no real search presence. As a small team, their time went into the product and its customers.
Meanwhile, competitors were showing up in search and AI answers for the topics GovEagle's buyers cared about most. Maintouch was GovEagle's first investment in AEO.
Solution
Building the channel from scratch
GovEagle used Maintouch to build its search and AI presence from the ground up. In six months, GovEagle published 126 pieces of content and now runs at about five posts a week, refreshes included.
Susan uses Agent M to decide what needs to happen next and to pressure-test strategy, which gives a small marketing team the output of a much larger one.
Outcome
The answer in a crowded market
Over six months, search impressions grew more than 6x to about 845,000, and organic clicks roughly tripled. Non-branded clicks went from about 1,000 to 4,700. GovEagle now ranks for about 15,000 keywords, up from 1,900. AI-referred visits grew about 5x, with roughly 90% from ChatGPT. One piece published with Maintouch has passed 60,000 impressions on its own.
In Maintouch's AI visibility tracking, GovEagle now has the highest visibility of the 16 brands it tracks. It shows up when buyers research, without outspending the competitors buying ads.
